If you ever have tabs from beverages, we'd love to have them so we can help out our community!
For more than 20 years, GVS has collected tabs to benefit David's House. This is a non-profit organization where families from out of town stay while their loved ones stay at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Centers for longterm care.
The tabs are collected, taken to David's House, and recycled by a volunteer there. The money earned from recycling goes directly to the organization to help defray operating costs.
Last year we collected 107 pounds, and our goal is to earn more than 100 again this year! Since we started this project, GVS has collected more than 1,400 pounds of tabs!
Please have your students bring them to school, where they can be either turned into their teacher or into the front office.
