The Grantham School Board and the Superintendent Search Committee are very pleased to announce the appointment of SAU 75's next School Superintendent, Lisa Walker.
Lisa has been an educator for 29 years, most recently serving as the Superintendent of Schools in the Monadnock Regional School District since 2015. Lisa began her career as an art teacher and moved into administration at the building level in 2001 as an Athletic Director, later becoming an Assistant Principal. She transitioned into District leadership in 2010 as the Director of Federal Projects for the Manchester School District and then became the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for SAU 34. Lisa lives in Peterborough with her husband, Ed, and her daughter Avery, and serves as a Firefighter and EMT for the town. "I am honored to be selected as the next Superintendent for Grantham," Walker said. "I am looking forward to getting to know the students, families, and community of Grantham and working together to build upon the existing foundation of excellence and continue to provide educational experiences that meet the needs of all students."

The search committee, composed of school staff, administration, and community members, successfully executed a comprehensive search process throughout the fall and early winter, narrowing a pool of several candidates to a small number of highly qualified finalists. The committee facilitated interviews and feedback gathering sessions with students, staff, administrators, and community members, leading to the unanimous recommendation of Lisa Walker to the School Board. Chairperson of the search committee Jerry Volpe commented, "We could not be more thrilled that Lisa has decided to join the Grantham school community. She is a top-notch educator and administrator. We feel fortunate to have someone with Lisa's extensive credentials and experience usher Grantham from its very strong position today to its next exciting chapter."
