Preschool artists drew their portraits and pasted them onto the rainbows they created!
2nd grade artists painted paper and then scratched designs into it.
Then, this week they used that painted paper to create Eric Carle style animals.
Before winter break, 3rd grade artists drew tigers with oil pastels and pasted them in a Henri Rousseau style jungle scene, and this week they started to work on self portraits!
We’re looking for a few household items for art projects:
- Small recycled plastic containers with lids (the 16oz cottage cheese size is perfect)
- Muffin tins (either 6 or 12 muffin size)
- Lightweight paperboard boxes (such as cereal boxes)
- Paper towel or toilet paper rolls
